Strawberry Jam-Boree at AOOA

We had an incredible time at AOOA Farm’s Strawberry Jam-Boree this weekend.The vibrant summer sun perfectly matched the lively spirit of the event, as 17 contestants competed to win over both the crowd and the judges. The jam flavors showcased a delightful range from classic to adventurous, featuring ingredients like hickory syrup, orange, rhubarb, honey, and even jalapenos into the mix with the farm’s organic strawberries. 

In the end, only two winners could claim the coveted wooden spoon trophies crafted by our studio. The People’s Choice award went to a smooth, bright, lemony jam made by the youngest contestant, while the judges were won over by a jam bursting with vibrant flavors including a unique ingredient—osmanthus. 

We were thrilled to invite both winners to Grow Peace Studio, where they will have their giant spoons engraved with their names and get a glimpse into our creative process. It was a sweet way to kick off the summer, and we’re excited to see what’s in store these coming months. Stay tuned to discover where you can find us next!
